Mumble is a free, open source, low latency, high quality voice chat application - similar to TeamSpeak.
Mumble is usually meant to be used with their desktop application, but for easy of use we also host a proxy that allows connecting to our server via a web browser. We use mumble-web and mumble-web-proxy to provide this service.
The web-proxy can be accessed here:
The dialog that opens on the website should already be populated the correct settings, just select a username (no password needed) and hit connect.
Be advised that voice latency is a bit higher when connecting via web proxy, a native client will always perform better.
To use Mumble natively, simply download a client from mumble.info and follow the onboarding set-up experience.
During set-up you will be asked a few questions, here are my recommendations:
Add a new server to your server list using the address mumble.libre.moe
(using the default port 64738) and connect to it.
You can use any kind of username you want, as long as it isn't taken by another user.

Done! You are now using Mumble ^^.
